Alan D. Van Kirk of Lampe, Missouri, was born February 28, 1961, in Lodi, California.  His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Glen Van Kirk.  Alan departed this life on September 25, 2022, at the age of 61.

Alan had been a resident of the area for twenty-five years.  He worked for Port of Kimberling Resort as an equipment operator.  He was a member of the Kimberling City American Legion Post 637.  He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force.

Alan was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Paula Morgan.

Survivors include: his wife, Marla Van Kirk of Lampe, Missouri; son, Cecil Van Kirk of Springfield, Missouri; two sisters, Pam Tonarelli of Lake Tahoe, Nevada and Lynn Stanley and husband of Texas.

A Celebration of Life Service will be Friday, October 7, 2022, 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the American Legion in Kimberling City, Missouri.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the "Alan Van Kirk Memorial Fund" at the Table Rock Community Bank.  Burial will be Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery Springfield, Missouri.
