Barbara Hastings, Galena, MO, daughter of Edward and Margaret Heavin Barrow, was born October 17, 1946 in Ferguson, MO and departed this life on October 26, 2020 at the age of 74.

Barbara had been a resident of the area for fourteen years moving here from Ferguson, MO.  During her working career Barbara had worked as an administrative assistant for many companies in the chemical, health care, aerospace and manufacturing industries.  She was a member of Our Lady of the Cove Catholic Church and the Red Hat Society.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald Hastings; three brothers, Ed Barrow, Herbie Barrow and Joe Barrow and one sister, Liz DeLay.

Survivors include: two sons, Joshua Hastings of Gardner, KS and Justin Hastings and wife, Shawn of St. Louis, MO; five brothers, Danny Barrow and wife, Jodi of Warrenton, MO, Paul Barrow and wife, Kathy of Warrenton, MO, Ted Barrow and wife, Brenda of Union, MO, Tony Barrow of Washington, MO and Mark Barrow;  three sisters, Tina Stryker of Lewistown, PA, Jan Wisa and husband, Gary of Hazelwood, MO and Mary McDuffie and husband, Mike of Jennings, MO; two granddaughters, Hollie Hastings and Anna Hastings and a host of other family and friends.

No service is planned at this time, burial will be at Jefferson Barracks Cemetery, St Louis, MO.  Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City, MO.
