Beatrice Ellen Ertmann, Galena, MO, daughter of John and Beverly (Danielsen) Ertmann, was born January 6, 1950 in Cedar Falls, IA and departed this life on June 24, 2021 at the age of 71.

Beatrice had been a resident of the area for 20 years moving here from Waterloo, IA.  She worked as a US postal carrier and was a member of the AMVETS Post 49 in Cedar Falls, IA.  Beatrice proudly served her country in the United States Army for multiple years.

Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents and a great-nephew.

Survivors include: two brothers, Paul Ertmann and wife, Alisha of Oelwein, IA and John Ertmann and wife, Gwen of Chesapeake Bay, VA; one sister, Esther Cowell and husband, Jeff of Waterloo, IA; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.

No service is planned at this time.  Family has requested memorial donations be directed to Esther Cowell at 743 W 11 ^th St Waterloo, IA 50702 for future designation. Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City, MO.
