Betty R. Holley, Kimberling City, MO, daughter of Raymond and Florence (Nightingale) Schlender, was born May 29, 1932, at Norfolk, NE, and departed this life on October 30, 2023, at the age of 91.

Betty was united in marriage to Clarence E.A. Holley for 50 plus years.  Together they moved to Kimberling City from Tarpon Springs, FL in 2003.

Betty worked as an accountant for Kroger Grocery Stores for over 30 years before her retirement.

Membership was held in the First Christian Church, Kimberling City, MO, the Amateur Radio Club and the Ladie's Auxiliary to the V.F.W.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Florence Schlender and her husband, Clarence E.A. Holley.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Velva Saulsbury of Sarasota, FL, niece, Carol Eberhard and her husband, Ronald of North Port, FL, nephew, Clarence D. Saulsbury and his wife, Sue of North Port, FL, step brother, Jim Veeder and his wife, Dee of Kimberling City, MO, great nieces and nephews, Melissa, Michael, Phillip and Tina and caregivers, David and Sabrina Miller.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 2, 2023, at the First Christian Church, Kimberling City, with Pastor Kent Williams officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home, Kimberling City, MO.
