Billy "Bill'' Leon Dodd

June 11, 1954 - November 7, 2025

Bill Dodd of Reeds Spring, Missouri passed away in his home at the age of 71 years. He was born in Humansville, MO. Bill's parents moved with him to Reeds Spring, MO when Bill was 2 years of age.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Morris L. Dodd and Fern M. (Slagle) Dodd, and his infant brother.

Bill is survived by his three nephews and niece: Doug Fly of Enfield IL, David Rice of Galena, MO, Wes Rice of Galena, MO and Mandie Herdrick of Loveland, CO. Five great nephews, four great nieces, and 1 great-great niece.

Bill married Janice Atchison in 1974, they divorced after 48 years. He had no children of his own, but he loved and was loved by many. He was Known by all as "Bill Dodd."

Bill had a great love for flying as well as hunting and fishing. He especially loved spending time with and teaching his nephews. Bill owned and operated a backhoe before he even graduated high school and took much pride in his work. He was good at it. Bill worked for moDOT and retired from there after 20 years of service.

Visitation will be held at Stumpff Funeral Home in Kimberling City, Missouri, on Thursday November 13th, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Services under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home.
