Billy Joe McGlothlin, Crane, MO, son of James "Frank" and Cecil (Eby) McGlothlin, was born on January 9, 1942, in Stone County, Galena, MO and departed this life on September 30, 2023, at the age of 81 years, 8 months and 21 days. He had been a resident of the Crane area all his life.

Billy was preceded in death by his father, James Franklin "Frank" McGlothlin, Sr.; mother, Cecil (Eby) McGlothlin; brothers, Johnny McGlothlin, Virgil McGlothlin and Homer McGlothlin; and sisters, Lula Chambers, Retha Bell Branham, Norma Lee Keener, Betty Keener and Bonnie McGlothlin.

Survivors include: his brother, James "Bud" McGlothlin, Jr. and his wife Della "Jane" of Crane, MO; numerous nieces and nephews and cousins and a host of friends.

No services are planned at this time. Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.
