Brenda J. Loewe, Galena, MO, daughter of Walter and Margie (Roberts) McCannon, was born March 15, 1948, in Burlington, IA, and went home to be with her parents and sister on October 20, 2023, at the age of 75.

Brenda married Robert L. Loewe on January 21, 1967, at the Lutheran Church in Blair, NE. On December 4th, 1970, Jon was born. Then seven years later, Nicki completed their family. Their younger years were spent at the ballfields where Brenda started the first girl's softball program in their small town. From Nebraska they moved to St. Peters, Mo where they spent many evenings out in the driveway with neighbors as the kids played. From Missouri they moved to Denver and then to Texas, until finally settling in Galena, MO. They were a team for 56 years. Taking care of one another to the very end.

Brenda was a member at Faith Lutheran Church, Branson, MO. She enjoyed Saturday services and dining with friends after. Brenda spent her days playing canasta, bunco and bowling with friends. While small in stature, her winning streak in cards was legendary. She was cherished by all.

While she treasured all her friends, she loved her grandchildren with an unmatched passion. Weeknights found her at a field, cross country course, basketball court, or visiting her grandchildren in Kansas City. She was always ready to share their latest achievements and proud beyond words. Her grandkids loved to tease grammy about the way she pronounced words, help her with technology and receive her hugs.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Margie McCannon and Edwin and Edna Loewe and her sister, Mary Carlson and her husband, Willie.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Bob. Their son, Jon and his wife, Meredith. Their children Jonah and his wife, Eryn and Joshua. Their daughter Nicki and her husband Mark, as well as their two children Jake and Laine Garner.

A Celebration of Life for Brenda will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 27, 2023, at the Faith Lutheran Church, Branson, MO.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7 p.m., Thursday, October 26, 2023, also at the Faith Lutheran Church.  Cremation is under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Kimberling City, MO.

Brenda loved doing good for others. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a donation to an organization that is near to your heart, in honor of our dear wife, mom and grammy.
