Carol A. Rea, Galena, MO, daughter of James and Joyce (Smith) Thomas, was born January 8, 1950 in LaGrange, MO and departed this life on March 20, 2021 at the age of 71.

Carol had lived in the area for twenty-four years, moving here from Alton, IL.  She was a member of Kimberling City Church of Christ.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Debra Fields and Rusty Hyzen.

Survivors include: her husband, Michael Rea of Galena, MO; son Sean Rea of Marshall, MO; brother, James Gess and wife of St Louis, MO; and a host of other family and friends.

No service is planned at this time.  Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City, MO.
