Carole Ann
Reed
Jun 4, 1949 — Sep 7, 2026
Reeds Spring, MO
It is with profound sadness and loving remembrance that we announce the passing of Carole, a cherished Wife, Mother, and Friend, who peacefully left this world on September 7, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in the lively borough of Paddington, London, England. Carole found her life's passions and joys across the continents, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Carole was the beloved Daughter of George and Hannah Payne, and she is now reunited with them and her dear Brother Bobby in eternal peace. She is survived by her devoted Husband of 54 years, Dayle, their beautiful Daughter Donna and her Husband Eric, and an extended family of friends and loved ones who will miss her dearly.
Carole's life was a testament to love at first sight; she met Dayle in Brussels, Belgium, and they quickly became inseparable. Married in 1972, they shared 54 wonderful years together, raising their daughter Donna with immense love and dedication. The trio formed an unbreakable bond, becoming a perfect team in life's many adventures.
A woman of remarkable versatility, Carole was truly a jack of all trades. Her professional journey was as varied as it was impressive—she served as a diligent NATO Intelligence Worker, navigated the Banking world, and embraced the challenge of being a Restaurant Owner. Carole also dedicated her skills to the role of City Clerk, worked as a Legal Assistant. Her career path reflected her adaptability and unwavering work ethic, characterized by her meticulous attention to detail.
Carole's warmth and vibrant personality were mirrored in her personal interests. She was a devoted fan of The Beatles, with the unique distinction of having met them, and her love for their music was a constant source of joy. She found happiness in the great outdoors, enjoying camping trips with loved ones, and expressed her creativity and care through cooking and spending time with her Grand Dogs.
Carole's legacy is one of love, resilience, and joy. Her life was a beautiful melody that will continue to play in the hearts of all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations in Carole's memory to Organizations Supporting Dementia Research and Awareness.
May Carole's spirit live on in the stories we share, the music we play, and the love we give. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
