Charlotte Esther Rose, Aurora, MO, the daughter of Robert Gorden and Mabel Esther (Anderson) Newby, was born July 17, 1938 in Spokane, WA, and departed this life on July 26, 2023, at the age of 85.

Charlotte was united in marriage to Paul Rose on February 28, 1959.  Together they moved to area from Independence, MO, 53 years ago.

Membership was held in the First Christian Church, Kimberling City, and the Red Hat Society of Kimberling City.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mabel Newby, her husband, Paul Rose, five brothers; Bob Newby, Havey Newby, Del Newby, Fred Newby and Baby Newby, and three sisters; Eleanor Bielas, Goldie Miller and Wanda Newby.

Charlotte is survived by one son, Paul Rose Jr., one daughter, Robin Eley, one brother, Tom Newby, two sisters; Shirley Belcher and Bonnie Osborn, five grandchildren; Kody Rose, Layne Sleeth, Dakota Rose, Amber Schlessman and Lance Eley and eight great grandchildren.

A memorial service is set for 3:00 p.m., Saturday, July 29, 2023, at the Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Kimberling City.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home, Kimberling City, MO.
