Dan Walthall, Galena, MO, son of Charles and Bertha (Fraley) Walthall, was born on July 20, 1936 in Thayer, MO, and departed this life on November 08, 2024, at the age of 88.

Dan worked in maintenance and construction at Silver Dollar City, was married to Vivian (Barnes) on September 19, 1958, and celebrated 66 years together.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Bertha Walthall; two sons, David Walthall and Mike Walthall; three siblings, Lillian Williams, Howard Walthall and Molly Cantrell.

Survivors include: his wife, Faye (Barnes) Walthall; daughter/son in law, Debra (Harold) Hoagland of Venice, FL; daughter in law, Kristal Walthall of Sarasota, FL; seven grandchildren, Joe (Beckie) Dryer of Springfield, MO, Derek (Courtney)  Harralson of Billings, MO, Denise (Kris) Shank of Rogersville, MO, Dustin (Paxton) Hutchison of Newark, AR, Miranda (Josh) Arnold of Willard, MO, Josh (Heather) Hoagland of Lakeland, FL and Erin Huffman of Lakeland, FL; eighteen great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 11, 2024 in Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Crane, MO. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. with Rick Flood officiating. Burial will be in Yocum Pond Cemetery, Reeds Spring, MO under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.
