David (Doc) R. Peters, Cape Fair, MO, son of Norbert and Betty (Hollon) Peters, was born November 13, 1954 in Denver, CO and Departed this life on November 25, 2020 at the age of 66.

David had been a resident of the area for eleven years, moving here from Clearwater, KS.  He worked in law enforcement, serving as a police officer.  He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force.

David was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dennis Peters.

Survivors include:  his wife, Diana Peters of Cape Fair, MO; three sons, Brian Peters and wife, Christi of Wichita, KS; John Shunatona of Wichita, KS and Aaron Shunatona of Bel Aire, KS; sister, Robynn Rice of Plains, KS; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

No service is planned at this time.  Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City, MO.
