Obituary

Dewayne Earl Brown, 58, of Blue Eye, Missouri, departed this life on July 23, 2026, in

Branson, Missouri.

Dewayne was born on April 27, 1968, in Aurora, Missouri, to Harlen and Louetta Brown. He

graduated from Blue Eye High School and remained a lifelong resident of the community he

loved. Throughout his life, Dewayne proudly worked for and supported many local

businesses. He especially cherished his time at Powers Farm, where he was welcomed and

loved like family.

Dewayne was an avid hunter and fisherman who felt most at home in the great outdoors.

He spent countless hours searching for morel mushrooms, tending his garden, and raising

chickens. He appreciated life’s simple pleasures and especially enjoyed sharing those

experiences with the people he loved.

Dewayne never met a stranger. Once he met you, you had a friend for life. He was known for

his kind heart, friendly nature, and willingness to help anyone in need. He treasured time

spent with family and friends and brought laughter, and friendship wherever he went.

His greatest pride and joy was his daughter, Audrey, whom he loved dearly. When Audrey

married Alex, Dewayne gained not only a son but also a great friend. The two shared a love

of hunting and the outdoors and had a very special bond.

During the final year of his life, Dewayne found tremendous joy in being a Pops. He

cherished every moment spent loving on his granddaughter, Wrenley, who brought him

endless happiness.

Dewayne was preceded in death by his father, Harlen Brown, and Dick and Gloria Hall.

He is survived by his mother, Louetta Brown; his daughter, Audrey and her husband, Alex;

and his granddaughter, Wrenley Middleton; one brother, Darrell Brown (Sissy); two sisters,

Sheena Morris (Rusty) and Sheila Brown (Kelly); and those who called him “Uncle Nayne”;

Tag Kent (Ryan), Beth Thompson (Justin), Guy Brown (Sara), Matt Brown (Kelsey);his aunts

and uncles; as well as many extended family members, and friends.

Dewayne will be deeply missed, but the love, laughter, and memories he shared will remain

in the hearts of all who loved and knew him.
