Don was born June 28, 1946, in Providence, R.I.  He and Thelma (Carpenter) were married June 24, 1967.  They spent their first year of marriage in Brussels, Belgium, as Don served in the Army at Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) NATO.

After returning to the United States two daughters, Brandi and Martine were born.  Don then took a job transfer to Kansas City, MO.  Several years later his proudest accomplishment was starting his own business, Bray-Mar Safety Products, in North Kansas City, MO for 13 years.

In 1990 Don and Thelma moved to Branson and Don worked for Sears for 10 years before retiring.

Don went home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 16, 2022.

He was preceded in death by Donald J. Allard (father), Alice L. Allard (mother), Fredrick and Robert Allard (brothers).

He is survived by his wife, Thelma Allard, daughters, Brandi Mills (Spouse, Tim) and Martine Gray (Spouse, Jeff), brother Carl Allard of VA, sisters, Alice Greenan and Jean Allard of R.I., grandchildren, Nick and Emily Thompson and Jackson and Allison Gray.

Celebration of Life for Don will be held Monday, February 28, 2022, at First Baptist Church Kimberling City, MO at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Jeff Hardy officiating.  Burial will be in Missouri Veterans Cemetery Springfield, MO.  In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to 'Sleep in Heavenly Peace' ministry at First Baptist Church.
