Donna S. Ellis, Crane, MO, daughter of Clarence and Mildred (Mooney) Dodson, was born June 7, 1943, at Elk City, OK, and departed this life on January 19, 2024, at the age of 80.

She was united in marriage to John P. Ellis on November 26, 1966.  Together they moved to the area in May of 2001 from Kansas City, MO.

Donna was an office worker in the banking industry before her retirement.

Membership was held in the Church of God, Elk City, OK, the Ladies Auxiliary for the Kansas City, MO, Fire Department, and the Quilting Club.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Mildred Dodson.

She is survived by her husband, John P. Ellis of Crane, MO, one brother, Jim Dodson of Lowell, OK, two nephews; Allen Dodson of Tulsa, OK, and Josh Dodson of El Reno, OK, niece, Debbie Winters of Mustang, OK, and numerous cousins.

A visitation for Donna will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 25, 2024, at the Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Crane, MO.  A service will held at 2:00 p.m., following the visitation at the Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Crane, MO.  Burial will follow in the Crane Community Cemetery.  The family suggests in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Presbyterian Church and/or St. Jude Children's Hospital.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.
