Doris Faye Steadman, was born on August 28, 1951 in Galena, MO to Burden and Azalee (Ralston) Harris and departed this life on November 07, 2021, at the age of 70.

Doris was a lifelong resident of the area. She adored her husband, Gene, and they had much fun traveling to Biloxi, being on the pontoon, and taking care of their chickens. Doris fiercely loved her sons and grandsons. She loved nothing more than being surrounded by them in her home, watching them play ball, and spending time with them at her "little cabin."

Doris was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jerry Harris and J D Harris and a sister, Norma Hightower.

Survivors include: her husband, Gene Steadman of Galena, MO; four sons, Jon Harris of Galena, MO, Dale Batson and his wife, Marie of Ozark, MO, Benny Batson and his wife, Rayla of Ozark, MO and Keith Batson and his wife, Tara of Galena, MO; two brothers, Benny Harris and his wife, Karen and Ron Harris and his wife, Tina; six grandchildren, Khaleb Harris and his fiancé, Kelsey, Alex Stewart, Andrew Batson and his wife, Courtney, Blake Batson and his wife, Allison, Dillon Batson and Wyatt Batson and a host of other relatives and friends.

No services are planned. Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.
