Dorothy Helen Carr was born in Chicago, IL September 29, 1938, to Aubrey and Sylvia Markley. She grew up in Berkeley, IL and graduated High School from Proviso East in Maywood, IL.

She loved her many jobs as a secretary and continued to write notes in shorthand. She loved her family, friends and many pets throughout the years.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold (Peanut) Carr, her siblings, Marilyn Romanic and Thomas Markley, son-in-law, Gregory Doweidt, Harold Carr, Jr. and many adored family members.

Left to cherish Dottie's memory are daughter, Debbie Doweidt, Karen and Darrel Back, Anita and Matt Pugh, Karla Jenkins, Max and Jodie Carr and many precious grand and great grandchildren, cousins and nieces.

In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated and no services at this time. Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be sent to Tri-Lakes Animal Shelter, Reeds Spring, MO.
