Douglas Roy Horner, Reeds Spring, MO, son of Donald and Verna (Ledley) Horner, was born December 27, 1950 in Cumberland, MD and departed this life on May 12, 2021 at the age of 70.

Douglas had been a resident of the area for seven years, moving here from Poolesville, MD.  He had been a sales consultant for a security company during his working career.  One of his greatest enjoyments was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.  He served his country proudly in the United States Army.

Douglas was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include: his wife, Barbara Horner of Reeds Spring, MO; son, Alex Horner and wife Ariel, of Branson, MO; daughter, Christine Reeley and husband, Chris of Gettysburg, PA; brother, Gary Horner of PA; five grandchildren, Carter, Griffin, Kairi, Austin and Jace; and a host of other family and friends.

Memorial service for Douglas will be held Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Ignite@ Lakewood Church in Reeds Spring, MO with Pastor Rob Barringer officiating.  Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Missouri Veterans Cemetery Springfield, MO.
