Erika Lynn Frike Jones, 55, of Republic, MO passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, September 23, 2024. She was born on October 25th, 1968, to Eddie Lacy Frike and Merry Lucretia Hymer Frike at the Whiteman Airforce Base.

Erika grew up in Holden, Missouri. Her family moved to Republic, Missouri when she was 15 years old. She graduated from Republic High School in 1987 which is where she met her soulmate, Sammy. Her and Sammy married December 11, 1988. She followed him in the Military to Berlin, Germany and Fort Meade, Maryland before they settled back down in Republic, Missouri in 1995.

Erika started working for Mercy Health Plans in 1999 and then transitioned her role to Mercy Hospital where she was a steward of excellence for 25 years. She took pride in her work and made many friends along the way.

In her spare time you could find her watching crime shows or jeopardy, playing board games or solitaire, and doing crafts. She also loved cheering on the Chiefs, fishing at Stockton Lake, and attending her sons, nieces, and nephews sporting events.

She could recite movie scenes by heart, often attended comedy shows, and loved listening to 80's music. She would frequently describe herself as a Queen of useless knowledge. She knew a lot about a lot and was a mass of people's go-to person for anything and everything under the sun. Her insight was always valued and respected. Her priority in life was to make sure everyone was taken care of. She loved her family and friends fiercely and displayed the ultimate level of kindness and generosity to everyone around her. She was a living testament of compassion and empathy. To know her was to love her and to have her love was a blessing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie & Merry Frike, her mother in law Margaret Jones, Son Joshua Jones, brother in law Ritchie Eutsler.

She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Sam Jones; her son Jacob Jones, her sister Wendy Eutsler and fiancé Marc Davis; niece and nephews Melanie Wyatt and husband Ethan who provided her with her pride and joy great nephew and niece Zaidyn & Weslyn Wyatt. Nephews Scott Eutsler and Austin Eutsler.

Sister Susan Richardson; nieces Cindy Heisterberg and Kelli Kickham.

She is also survived by her  Father in Law Leroy Jones, Sister in law and husband Zelda and Thomas Mirabella; nieces and nephew Kimberly, Tj, and Lauren Mirabella.

Her Brother in law David Jones and wife Irene; nephew Brian and his mother Manoli.

Her brother in law Deron Jones and nephews and niece Tyler Jones, Wyatt Jones, and Jessica Jones.

A celebration of life will be held March 15, 2025 details to be announced at a later time.

Cremation is under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.
