Ervin Kufahl died on July 1 at Cox Medical Center, Branson. He was born in Wausau, WI, on November 4, 1946, to the late Ella (Draeger) and Alvin Kufahl. He graduated from Wausau High and served in the US Army. He married Kathryn Ross on March 8, 1970, at St. Stephens Lutheran, Edgar, WI.

After retirement, Kathryn and Ervin moved to Reeds Spring in 2005. Erv was an active volunteer at the Kimberling Area Library, a supporter of the Master Gardeners of the Ozarks and a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.

In addition to Kathryn, Ervin is survived by two sisters, Sandy (Dick) Desotelle and Jean Kufahl and one brother, Eldon (Rita) Kufahl. He is further survived by brothers and sisters-in-laws and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Carol Klinger and brother Garry.

Visitation will be at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Kimberling City, 9 to 11AM, Saturday, July 4. Celebration of Life service to follow at 11AM. Plant a tree in his memory but please no flowers.
