Evelyn R. Meyers, Kimberling City, MO, daughter of Raymond and June (Mount) Stouten, was born February 3, 1948, in Carroll, Iowa and departed this life on January 14, 2023, in Houston, TX, at the age of 74.

Evelyn and her husband, Chip, own and operate Cruise Inn Resort in Kimberling City, MO. where she lit up the room with her beautiful smile and amazing voice. She led an adventurous life that started when she and Chip met in Spain, honeymooned in Rome then sailed around the Caribbean. She touched so many people's hearts in so many ways.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Fred Stouten and Mark Stouten.

Survivors include: her husband, Harold (Chip) Meyers of Kimberling City, MO; son, Gary Peter and wife, Laura of Springdale, AR; daughter, Laurie Meyers and husband, Tim of Blue Eye, MO; two brothers, Jim Stouten and wife, Becky of Broken Arrow, OK and Kenny Stouten and wife Dawn of Bella Vista, AR; sister, Cathy Fetty and husband, James of Broken Arrow, OK; five grandchildren, Jessica Tealle, Allison Taylor, Blake Knight, Courtney Perry and Katie Peters; six great grandchildren, Marley Tenan, Oliver Auxier, Isla Tealle, Oden Perry, Olive Perry and Hadley Altstatt and a host of other family, friends near and far they have met over the years at the resort.

No service is planned at this time.  Cremation arrangements were handled by Stumpff Funeral Home in Kimberling City, MO.
