Floyd Evan Baker Sr., Cape Fair, MO, son of Harry Lee and Margaret "Edith" (Campbell) Baker, was born August 31, 1950, in Mercer, PA, and departed this life on January 30, 2023, at the age of 72.

Floyd had been a resident of the area for 36 years, moving here from Volant, PA.  Floyd was retired from the Tyson meat company where he was a knife sharpener.  He was of the Christian faith.  Floyd had a passion for wildlife, hunting, fishing arrowhead hunting, knapping and his grandkids!

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents; son, Floyd Evan Baker, Jr; two brothers, Wallace Baker and Joseph Baker; two sisters, Vera Filer and Wilda Alcorn; two brothers-in-laws, Larry Filer and Clarence Alcorn and a sister-in-law, Arlene Baker.

Survivors include: his wife, Patricia Baker of Cape Fair, MO; daughter, Lori Ann Baker of Lakeland, FL; daughter-in-law, Ruth Ellen Baker; brother, Donald Baker of Branson, MO; four grandchildren, Floyd Evan Baker III, Jerl Carlyle Green, Darbrielle Patricia Green and Jackson Floyd Hill; one great grandson, Cash Carlyle Green and a host of other family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City, MO.
