Frances Willoughby, Galena, MO, daughter of George Wallace and Jean (Roundtree) Gill, was born on July 25, 1937 in San Angelo, TX and departed this life on April 20, 2020, at the age of 82.

Frances had lived in the area for the past fifty years coming from Wichita, KS. She married R H Willoughby on August 13, 1956 and they celebrated over fifty years before his passing. Frances was also a founding member of Cape Fair Baptist Church, Cape Fair, MO.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, R H Willoughby; daughter, Janet Petlitzer; parents, George and Jean Gill and sister, Lola Shipman.

Survivors include: daughter, Susan Lippold and her husband, Dean of Galena, MO son, Steve Willoughby and his wife, Derinda of Walnut Shade, MO; two brothers, Sam Gill of Long Island, NY and Vernon Burkholder of Diboll, TX; eight grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, April 24, 2020 in Cape Fair Cemetery, Cape Fair, MO with Jeffery Bain and Russell Willoughby officiating. Services are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.
