Gayla Marie Garrison, Lampe, MO, daughter of Theodore Joseph, Jr. and Rosezella Jane (Best) Appelhanz, was born on February 09, 1962, in Topeka, KS and departed this life on August 20, 2023, at the age of 61.

Gayla was a homemaker and had lived in the area since 1977, coming from Topeka, KS.

Survivors include: her husband, Richard Garrison of Lampe, MO; son Ryan Garrison and his wife, Tamra of Lampe, MO; daughter, Tasha Craig and her husband, Trent of Lampe, MO; three brothers, Ted Appelhanz, David Appelhanz and Tony Appelhanz; four sisters, Anne Swanson, Robin Lawson, Sandy Gilliland and Lisa Newsome; six grandchildren, Nathan, Annistin, Maylee, Remmi, Lainie and Benson and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 26, 2023, in Blue eye Cemetery, Blue Eye, MO with Glenda Parton officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Kimberling City, MO. A celebration of life will follow the graveside at the Blue Eye Lions, Blue Eye, MO.
