Goldie Marie McCreary, age 87, of Blue Eye, Missouri, passed away peacefully after a long and full life. She was born on December 11, 1938, in Denver, Arkansas, to Roy and Velma Marie Marriott.

Goldie's life was rooted in family, faith, and the simple joys that made every day meaningful. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Velma Marie Marriott; her beloved husband, Joy Dean McCreary; her granddaughter, Shara Marie Butler; her brother, Roy Lee Marriott; and her sisters, Frankie Pearson, Zella Collins, and Frances Phillips.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Carrie Butler, and her husband, RD, of Blue Eye, Missouri; her stepdaughter, Judy McCreary, of Fort Wayne, Indiana; two grandsons, Ryan Butler and wife Mindy of Blue Eye, Missouri, and Adam Butler and wife Brooklynn of Nixa, Missouri; her cherished great‑grandson, Luke Butler; and her sister, Bobby Collins, of Mt. Sterling, Illinois.

Goldie found her greatest happiness in the moments spent with her family. She loved shopping trips and lunches in Branson with her daughter, Carrie, and she never missed an opportunity to spoil her grandkids. She also enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time outdoors with her husband, Joy, over the years. Family gatherings were her favorite occasions, and she brought warmth, laughter, and a gentle spirit to every get-together.

Her kindness, her steady presence, and the love she poured into her family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A Visitation for Goldie, will be held at 2:00 PM on February 19th, with a service following at 3:00 PM at Stumpff Funeral Chapel in Kimberling City, Missouri. Her interment will follow and will be at Blue Eye Cemetery in Blue Eye, Missouri. Services will be under the care of Stumpff Funeral Home in Kimberling City, MO.
