Gregory (Greg) Scott Potter, of Clever, MO, son of Earl and Shelha Potter was born on June 29, 1970 in Springfield, MO and departed this life on January 30, 2022, at the age of 51.

Greg enjoyed fishing, racing and spending time with his family. He enjoyed spending weekends at the races, whether it was racing his own car or helping his friends. Greg created a special bond with his father-in-law Chris Snyder over their love of racing. He gained many friends and created many memories at the local tracks. Greg loved his family and spent as much time as possible making memories with his kids and grandkids.

Survivors include: his wife, Christal Potter of Clever, MO; daughters, Mary Stout and husband, Joe of Mt. Vernon, MO, McKaylah Sutton and son-in-law, Taylor of Springfield, MO and Mackenzie Potter of the home; son, Brandon Potter of the home; Rachel Scott of Clever, MO Jameson Price of Clever, MO and Hannah Redmon and Casey of Fort Riley, KS (Greg thought of them as his daughters); parents, Earl and Shelha Potter of Clever, MO; brothers, Richard Potter and wife, Kathy of Nixa, MO and Phillip Potter and wife, Mickie of Forsyth, MO; sister, Heather Carsten and husband, Jeff of Highlandville, MO; father-in-law, Chris C Snyder of Spokane, MO; mother-in-law, June Grant and husband, Dan of Mammoth Springs, AR; brother-in-law, Chris M Snyder and wife, Lori of Ozark, MO; sister-in-law, Jennifer Lewis and husband, Christian of Springfield, MO; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Jason and Sarah Justice, Chris and Carrie Countryman and Terry and Delinda Phillips.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday, February 7, 2022 in Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Crane, MO. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 12:00 p.m. with Travis Sanders officiating. Burial will be in Crane Community Cemetery, Crane, MO under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.
