Harold Gene Kissire, formerly of Galena, MO, was born on August 15, 1929 to Loye Houck/Kissire and William P. Kissire. He departed this life January 20, 2022, in the comforts of his home in Broken Arrow, OK.

Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Eda Markley/Kissire (of more than fifty years); three brothers, Austin, Fairman and Max and two sisters, Edna Mae and Bonnie.

Harold is survived by a son, Matthew P. Kissire; daughter, Patty J. Kissire; granddaughter, Hailee P. Kissire (and husband, Sheldon Surratt); great granddaughter, Trinity Lace Kissire and a host of other family members.

Harold had been a member of the Masonic Lodge 515 of Galena for over 60 years. He served in the U S Army Air Corps/U S Air Force and went on to retire from American Airlines. Harold was a devout Christian and a dedicated member of the Galena Community Church. Harold loved a lot of people and was equally loved.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 29, 2022 in the Galena Cemetery, Galena, MO with Doug Minton officiating. Burial is under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.
