Helen Joyce Temming Edwards of Kimberling City, MO passed away November 27, 2020 in Springfield, MO of the COVID virus.

Helen was born November 15, 1927 at Concordia, MO to George and Bessie (Leas) Temming of Concordia, MO. She married Cecil Lewis Edwards in 1956 in Wichita, KS where she lived most of her adult life. Helen loved going to church, singing along to country music, ballroom dancing and playing Bingo. Even though she dealt with dementia in later years she never lost her spunk and love of life.

Helen is survived by her sister, Shirley Stewart and nephew David Stewart, both of Warrensburg, MO and her four daughters, Carol Jienean Holt-Collins of Kimberling City, MO, Ethel Jean Picket of Marion, KS, Linda Sue Bachtel (David) of Princeton, TX and Opal Cecile Edwards of Crystal Springs, KS. She has eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, George and Bessie Temming.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at the Higginsville City Cemetery, Higginsville, MO under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Kimberling City, MO.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
