Horace (Buck) Allen O'Day, Galena, MO, son of Lawrence and Arvilla (Newton) O'Day, was born December 13, 1943, at Upper Darby, PA, and departed this life on April 29, 2023, at the age of 79.

Buck was united in marriage to Honnon Alberta Kreal on December 19, 1965. He served in the United States Air Force. Buck was a lieutenant for the Darby, PA, fire department before moving to MO, where he was a mechanic at Silver Dollar City and then an over the road truck driver before his retirment.

Membership was thru his wife in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Kimberling City, MO.

Preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Arvilla O'Day, one brother, Lawrence O'Day, and one sister, Irma Formost.

Survivors include: wife, Alberta O'Day of Galena, MO, four sons; Tom O'Day and his wife, Mary of Orlando, FL, James O'Day of Cape Fair, MO, Chris O'Day and his wife, Sharon of Los Angeles, CA, and Yosh Gould of Springfield, MO, six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A visitation will be held from 3:00-4:00 p.m., Sunday, June 4, 2023, at the Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Kimberling City, MO. In lieu of flowers the family request cards to the family or memorials to the St. Andrew's Men's Group.
