Howard Lee Burk, 80, of Galena, MO, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on April 13, 2022. Howard was born on March 4, 1942, in Ponce de Leon, MO, the son of Edward and Florence (Daniels) Burk. He was married on December 22, 1962, to Joetta Jenkins.

Howard was a farmer and owner/operator of Burk Heating and Air. He previously worked at Zenith.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joetta; one brother, Breen Burk and one son in law, Danny Scott.

Survivors include: two sons, Earl Eugene Burk and Ralph Burk; three daughters, Leanna Chase, Deanna Stienhoff and Dana (Rick) Scott-Eutsler; seven granddaughters, Sarah (Matt) Johnson, Candi (Tony) Harris, Jennifer Plottner, Keisha Mann, Whitney Jenkins, Ashley Mann and Suzette Vest; five grandsons, Nathaniel Burk, Andy (Abbey) Eutsler, Randall (Breanna) Scott, Corey (Loni) Eutsler and Ryan (Kassi) Scott; nineteen great grandchildren and two sisters, Joy Bradford and Eleanor "Trussalo" Roller.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2022 in Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Crane, MO. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. in Ponce Pentecostal Church, Ponce de Leon, MO with Gail Cobb officiating. Burial will be in Ponce Cemetery, Ponce de Leon, MO.
