Howard Bussard, 75, passed away June 24, 2021, in Springfield, MO surrounded by family.

Howard and Ann were united in marriage in1982. With this union was also that of a family. He was a loving and amazing husband, dad and Pa.

Howard was a hard worker and a great provider and was proud to have served his country in the National Guard. He worked at Kraft Foods for thirty one years, twenty five of which he also drove a school bus. Howard hauled hay in the summer, cut wood in the winter and made it to almost every game or event his six children had. He coached little league to a group of boys that held a very special place in his heart. Howard loved to hunt and fish, Cardinals baseball, Chiefs football and reminding his baby sister it took a Texas boy to help the Chiefs get the Big Win.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents; Homer and Virgie; a brother Johnny and a sister Zina Mae Rose.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Ann of thirty nine years; six children, Stephanie, Jodi, Shawn, Dani, Brooke and Suzanne; one sister, Brenda Speer; many nieces, nephews and cousins; but most importantly, twenty grandkids and seventeen great grandkids. He loved spending time with them, watching them play, laugh and grow into amazing people. He was very proud of them and to be their Pa

He will be loved and missed always. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.
