Icie "Ike" Tate, Galena, MO, daughter of John Edward and Rener Dee (Lloyd) Saulter, was born on September 6, 1939 in Summerfield, OK and departed this life on September 29, 2021, at the age of 82.

Ike was a homemaker who had lived in the area for the last forty two years coming from San Jose, CA. She was a member of the VFW, American Legion and bowling leagues.

Ike was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Raymond Tate; a daughter, Joanna Brasiola; two brothers, Joseph Saulter and Edlow Saulter and one sister, Nancy Sales.

Survivors include: three sons, Mikel Mello and wife, Anita of Galena, MO, John Waggoner of Neosho and Arthur Tate and wife, Tina of Galena; two daughters, Raelene Taylor of Gentryville, MO and Jeanne Largent and husband, Brandon of Galena, MO; three brothers, John Saulter and wife, Joyce of Galena, MO, Arthur Saulter and wife, Sandy of Shady Point, OK and Jack Saulter of Willits, CA; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; one great, great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 1, 2021 in Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Crane, MO. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 2, 2021 in Kenney Cemetery, Neosho, MO with Doug Minton officiating. Burial was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.
