James L. Thomas Harris, Springfield, MO, son of James and Laverne (McGill) Harris, was born August 31, 1975, in Evansville, IN, and departed this life on November 13, 2021, at the age of 46.

James had been a resident of Springfield, MO for three years, moving there from Branson, MO. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kimberling City, MO.

James was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include: his wife, Debbie Harris of Springfield, MO; daughter, Chante Hooker of Evansville, IN; aunt, Leora Norman of Evansville, IN and a host of other family and friends.

A Memorial service will be held December 4, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Little Valley Baptist Church in Evansville, IN.  Local Memorial Service will be January 8, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church Kimberling City, MO. Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City, MO.
