James C. Yeager   July 20, 1944 – March 16, 2024

James C. Yeager, 79 was born on July 20, 1944, in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Joseph C. and Colastea Yeager. On August 30, 1969, he was united in marriage to Linda Andreasen in Kennard, Nebraska.

On March 16, 2024 he died peacefully in his home surrounded by his wife, children and grandchildren.

He and his wife owned an operated Platte Valley Truck & Trailer Repair in Fremont, Ne until his retirement in 2016. In 2019 he, his wife Linda and his daughter Jamie moved to Kimberling City, Missouri.

He is survived by his wife, Linda, one son, Clifford Yeager of Overland Park, Kansas and three daughters, Tiffney Yeager of Norton, Kansas, Jamie Yeager of Kimberling City, Missouri and Lorie Nielsen of Kimberling City, Missouri as well as six grandchildren and one great grandson.

His children recall one story they feel describes the heart of their father. One day they drove to the truck shop their father owned and he had a garden hose and was filling the puddles which were drying out – when they asked what he was doing he said he did not want the tadpoles living in the puddles to die.

Stumpff Funeral Home in Kimberling City, Missouri was in charge of his cremation.

No formal funeral is planned, his children and grandchildren will have a celebration of his life in the summer of 2024 when they are all together for their annual reunion.
