Jason Ryan Wells was born on February 15, 1982, and went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 27, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Jason gave his life over to Jesus Christ at a young age. Although he battled with many earthly demons, he knew he belonged to Christ our Lord and on February 26, 2026, was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.

Jason loved his family and was always ready to talk about his cherished children. He loved living in the Ozarks, camping, fishing and hiking. He spent many hours at Crane Creek saying, "The cold water wasn't just good for pain, but good for the soul." Jason was an avid Chiefs Fan.

Jason worked in several different areas but had settled as manager of Pizza Hut for over a decade.

Jason was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joe and Janet; paternal grandparents, Tom and Lenora; stepfathers, Gary and Keith; uncle, Dwight; stepbrother, Shawn; niece, Sophia and cousin, Kimmy.

Survivors include: his parents, Howard and Janis; three children, Arion (Sadie), Abbie and Brodie; sister, Brenda; brothers in law, Jeremy and Chuck; stepbrothers, Justin and Dustin; stepsisters, Stacey and Tara; three nephews; 1 niece; two great nieces; uncles Lonnie (Wanda), Terre (Vonda), James (Cindy), Paul (Rita); aunts, Sheila and LaHoma (David); two great aunts; one great uncle and many other family and friends.

Jason will be greatly missed and was much loved.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2026 in Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Crane, MO. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Barry Smith officiating. Cremation will be under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.
