Frank "Jay" Joseph Steed, Junior of Branson West, Missouri the son of Frank Jay Steed Sr and Darlys (Foster) Steed was born on April 22, 1966 in Memphis Tennessee and departed this life on October 10, 2021 at the age of 55.

Jay had been a resident of the area for 17 years, moving from Guion, Arkansas. Jay was a self-employed real estate developer. Jay and his wife, Kim were very active and involved in the Table Rock Community.

Jay was preceded in death by his father, Frank J Steed Sr, his Stepfather, Harvey "Corky" Chiles, his aunt Judy Halfacre, his uncle Charles Halfacre, and cousin Melissa Beckham.

Survivors include his wife, Kim Steed and their children, Alexandra, Joseph, and Jack of Branson West, MO. His mother, Darlys Fay Chiles of Branson West Missouri, his sister, Christie Thomas of Branson West Missouri, and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation for Jay will be Saturday, October 16, 2021, 10:00 AM at the first Baptist Church a Kimberling City Missouri. A celebration of life will follow at 12 o'clock with Pastor Rob Barringer officiating. In lieu flowers, the family has requested donations go to the Jay Steed Memorial Scholarship Fund at Central Bank in Branson West, MO.  Arrangements are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Kimberling City, MO
