Obituary

Jerry Wayne (Skeeter) Graves, Crane, MO, son of Gerald and Charlene (Smith) Graves, was born February 25, 1969, in Panorama City, CA, and departed this life on May 6, 2022, at the age of 53.

Jerry's love for big trucks started at a young age. His dad often found him behind the wheel of his trucks, CB in hand, imagining he was driving down the interstate. This love continued into his adult life with occupations over the years almost always involving big trucks. Although Jerry definitely had a talent for driving anything, his passion was working on the big diesel trucks. Jerry loved hunting, Freightliners and Ford trucks. Gentle giant comes to mind when thinking of Jerry. He always had a hug for his granny, a soft spot for his mama and a hard time for his sister. Jerry knew Shae from growing up in Reeds Spring, they didn't realize until a bit later in life that they were meant to be together. Jerry instantly became a dad to Brandi and Benji, not always knowing what in the world he was doing but always giving it his all. A couple of years later he was blessed with another daughter Bailey who melted his heart and had him wrapped from the get go. Jerry had a rough and tough attitude that a person could see soften when his grandchildren came around. Jerry loved being a papa to his five grandchildren especially when it came to aggravating them. The smile those kids could put on their Papa's face was priceless. Aside from Jerry's favorite things previously mentioned, he loved to grill! Grilling for his whole family and especially his wife Shae was his absolute favorite thing to do on the weekends. Jerry was a man of few words until you got him talking about things that lit him up. When he would get to talking, that excitement that he had was contagious and you couldn't help it, you'd hang on every word. Jerry and Shae occasionally attended Sanctuary of Hope in Branson and considered it their church. Jerry has lived in Crane the last 21 years. He and Shae would have celebrated 30 years of marriage in November of this year. He was a devoted husband, dad, papa, son and brother. He took very good care of his family and he will be dearly missed.

Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, Charlene Graves.

Survivors include: his wife of almost 30 years, Shae Graves of Crane, MO; his father, Gerald Graves of Galena, MO; daughter, Bailey Eutsler and husband, Michael of Crane, MO; step-daughter, Brandi Bellamy and husband Jimmy of Billings, MO; step-son, Ben Brown of Reeds Spring, MO; sister, Gina Reed and husband, Ray of Galena, MO; grandson, Fisher Eutsler; four granddaughters, Lancey-Joe Bellamy, Andi Bellamy, Burkli Bellamy and Adlie Eutsler and a host of other family, friends and trucking community.

Jerry didn't like the idea of a traditional funeral. As said previously one of Jerry's favorite things was to grill. So there will be a Celebration of Life BBQ at a later date. When a date is chosen the family will let everyone know. Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home Crane, MO.
