Joan Spriggs (Scheibly) 97, of Branson, Missouri entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on April 09, 2022. Joan was born on September 12, 1924 in Decatur, Illinois and was adopted into the family of Marcus and Goldie Scheibly. She married Robert Thomas Spriggs Jr. (Bob) on June 19, 1942.  Joan and Bob raised their family in both Wichita and Hutchinson, Kansas.  At the age of 33 Joan accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. She loved the Lord with all her heart and served him faithfully until her death. She was a member of Talking Rock Road Baptist Church of Reed Springs, MO for the past 14 yrs.

Joan was preceded in death by her late husband of 62 yrs, (2004), grandson Clayton and great granddaughter Danielle.  She is survived by her four children: Annette Magerfleisch (Ken), Jannette Janzen (Charles), Bobbie Jo Klema (Dr. John) and Robert Thomas III (Cheryl).  Six grandchildren: Russell (Marisa), Dyan, Stuart (Laurie), Mark, Michael (Alicia) and Thomas. Four great grandchildren: Shelby, Shannon, Michael II, and Vivienne.

Services for Joan will be held at Stumpff Funeral Home in Kimberling City, MO 65686. Visitation will be Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 10:00 am -11:00 am with service following at 11:00 am. A private graveside service will take place at Resthaven Cemetery in Wichita, Kansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City, MO.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joan's honor to Talking Rock Baptist Church or Compassus Hospice Care. Envelopes will be available.
