Jodi Renee O'Flaherty, Kimberling City, MO, daughter of Jerry Dale Dabney and Jackie Dayle (Crossman) Schertz, was born April 30, 1972, at Lincoln, IL, and departed this life on December 12, 2023, at the age of 51.

Jodi was united in marriage to Mike O'Flaherty.  Together they moved to the area from Metamora, IL, in 2018 to be by the lake, because her passion was boating.

Membership was held in the James River Assembly Church.

Jodi is preceded in death by her father, Jerry Dabney.

She is survived by her husband, Mike O'Flaherty of Kimberling City, MO, mother, Jackie Schertz of Metamora, IL, two daughters, Taylor Reynolds and wife, Alyssa of Kimberling City, MO, and Abigail Wettstein of Washington, IL, one brother, Brian Dabney and Jennifer Coley of Dixon, IL, one sister, Sarah Leesman and husband, Logan of Minier, IL, one grandchild, Emersyn Reynolds and a special aunt, Wanda Gray and husband, Hall of Bloomington, IL.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the City of Hope, Zion, IL.  Cremation is under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home, Kimberling City, MO.

There were no strangers to Jodi, once you met her, you could never forget her.
