John Lee Phifer, Kimberling City, MO, son of Gail and Karen (Hartman) Phifer, was born December 1, 1978, in St. Petersburg, FL, and departed this life on April 28, 2023, at the age of 44.

John was united in marriage to Kristen E. Everett on October 16, 2004. Together they moved from St. Petersburg, FL to Missouri in August of 2021.

John gave 18 years of service as a police officer in St. Petersburg, FL, prior to his retirement. Membership was held in the Kimberling City United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: his wife, Kristen E. Phifer, of the home, two sons; Daniel Phifer (Charlee Gregory) of St. Petersburg, FL, and Wyatt Phifer of the home, one daughter, Lily Phifer of the home, his parents, Gail and Karen Phifer of St. Petersburg, FL, mother-in-law, Nancy (Matt) Pesce of Cumming, GA, father-in-law, Ken (Ro) Everett of Kimberling City, MO, two sisters, Nancy Phifer of St. Petersburg, FL and Janie (Robert) Staples of St. Petersburg, FL, two grandchildren; Carter Phifer and Kaylyn Phifer, brother-in-law, Jeremy Everett (Ken Robbins) of Tampa, FL and sister-in-law, Sarah (Josh) Bennett of Springfield, MO, and numerous extended family members.

A memorial service is set for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the Kimberling City United Methodist Church, Kimberling City, MO. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to their children's education via the memorial fund for John Phifer in care of Table Rock Community Bank, Kimberling City.
