John Tucker, Crane, MO, son of Michael and Dixie (Reeves) Tucker, was born on February 3, 1969, in Wichita, KS and departed this life on October 10, 2021, at the age of 52.

John was a lifelong resident of the area. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps and he loved golfing, floating, NASCAR, barbecuing, and the outdoors.

John was preceded in death by his father, Michael Tucker; maternal grandmother, Eva Haynes and paternal grandparents, Douglas and Frances Mitchell.

Survivors include: his wife, Buffie Tucker of Crane, MO; sons, Chris Tucker and wife, Lauren of Crane, MO, Jeff Tucker and wife, Ashleigh of Aurora, MO, Evan Laye of Republic, MO and Devin Laye of Republic, MO; daughters, Courtney Tucker-Andrus and husband, Holden of Monett, MO, Cassie Tucker of Crane, MO and Heather Laye of Republic, MO; parents, Dewey and Dixie Stewart of Crane, MO; brother, James Tucker and wife, Amy of Galena, MO; sisters, Tammy Stewart of Aurora, MO and Gina Stewart of Bolivar, MO; thirteen grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 17, 2021 in Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Crane, MO. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 18, 2021 in Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Crane, MO with Cody Cypret officiating. Burial will be in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, MO under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.
