Junior Smith, Galena, MO, son of John and Alma (Woodhouse) Smith, was born on July 16, 1931, in Galena, MO, and departed this life on April 15, 2024, at the age of 92.

Junior was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a farmer and a school bus driver for Galena Schools for 31 years.

Junior was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.

Survivors include: his wife, Wilda Smith of Galena, MO; son, Charles Smith and his wife, JoAnn of Galena, MO; one granddaughter, Charla Smith and her partner, Mason Chambers of Galena, MO and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, April 18, 2024, in Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Crane, MO. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2024, in Nolan Cemetery with Denny McCrorey officiating. Services are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.
