Larry Dean Broomfield, Cape Fair, MO, son of Virgil Dean and Naomi Ruth (Skalenda) Broomfield, was born on September 09, 1947 in Enid, OK and departed this life on July 30, 2021, at the age of 73.

Larry had lived in the area since 1964 coming from Oklahoma. He was a member of the Church of Christ, Cape Fair, MO and owned and operated Broomfield Excavating in the area for many years.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bruce Broomfield.

Survivors include: his wife, Mary Ann Broomfield; four children, Lori Burk and husband, Lance, Crystal Lewallen and husband, Ed, Monica Emerson and husband, Tim, and Trent Broomfield and wife, Geraldina; eleven grandchildren, Samantha Bruce and husband, Philip, Jordan Lewallen and wife, Callie; Quintin Lewallen and wife, Kylie, Sadie Burk, Tucker Emerson, Madelynn Emerson, Aidan Broomfield, Johnathan Emerson, Ciaran Broomfield, Leandra Broomfield and Zidane Broomfield; five great grandchildren, Zeplyn Bruce, Ryah Bruce, Weldon Lewallen, Leighton Lewallen and Naomi Lewallen; two sisters, Juanita Nusz and Wanda Cagle and husband, Terry. He is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2021 in Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Crane, MO. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 4, 2021 in Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Crane, MO with Johnny Arnold officiating. Burial will be in Cape Fair Cemetery, Cape Fair, MO under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.
