Larry Weldon Treadwell, Branson, MO, son of Marion and Edith (Funkhouser) Treadwell, was born December 26, 1942 in Morrilton, AR and departed this life on January 4, 2021 after a short battle with cancer, at the age of 78.

Larry had been a resident of the area for thirty years, moving here from Stuttgart, AR.  He owned and operated a travel agency.  Larry proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Robert Treadwell and a sister, Jacquelyn Gills.

Larry is survived by his wife of almost fifty-nine years, Carole Treadwell of Branson, MO; two sons, Bruce Treadwell and wife, Melinda of Lowell, AR and Bobby Treadwell of San Antonio, TX; six grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Services for Larry will be Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Stumpff Funeral Chapel Kimberling City, MO with Pastor Mike Keeter officiating.  Graveside service will be at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Thomas Walker officiating at Adams Cemetery in Lanty, AR.  In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.  Arrangements are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City, MO.
