Lee Roy Buckner, Reeds Spring, MO, son of Raymond and Mary (Blevins) Buckner, was born August 9, 1930, in Versailles, MO, and departed this life on October 21, 2022, at the age of 92.

Roy had lived in the area for 65 years and was well known for the produce he would sell at his fruit and produce stand on 76 Highway.  He served his country proudly in the United States Army.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Bula; three brothers, James Buckner, Robert M. Buckner and Earl Buckner; two sisters, Mae Stark and Lorene Alford.

Survivors include: two sons, Doug Buckner and wife, Donna of Nixa, MO and Greg Buckner of Branson West, MO; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation for Roy will be Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at Stumpff Funeral Chapel Kimberling City, MO, 1:00-2:00 p.m. with the service following at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Ron Scott officiating.  Burial will be in Nickerson Cemetery, Kimberling City, MO, with full military honors.
