Leon 'Hummer' William Wallace, Galena, MO, son of William and Alvie (Dunn) Wallace, was born December 20, 1950, in Watervliet, MI. and departed this life on February 17, 2022, at the age of 71.

Hummer worked many years in Attractions and Maintenance at Silver Dollar City, entertaining and making many lasting friendships. He was a member of Talking Rock Baptist Church.  He served his country proudly with the United States Marines.

Hummer was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include: his wife, Donna Wallace of Galena, MO; son, Justin William Wallace and wife, Alissa of Tulsa, OK; four daughters, Lori Lynch and husband, Daniel of Springfield, MO, Stacy Dowdy and husband, John of Reeds Spring, MO, Jodi Pickerill and husband Josh of Branson West, MO and Misty Wallis and husband, Paul of Campbell, MO; sister, Phyllis Carr of Quitman, TX; fifteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

A Memorial Visitation will be held Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Stumpff Funeral Chapel Kimberling City, MO 2:00-4:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers the family has established a Memorial Fund in memory of Leon 'Hummer' at the Simmon's Bank in Reeds Spring, MO (417-272-1288).  Arrangements are under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home Kimberling City, MO.
