Lester W Fischer, Galena, MO son of Theodore and Leota (Kelb) Fischer, was born on December 08, 1929 in Benton County, MO and departed this life on October 19, 2020, at the age of 90.

Lester had lived in the area since 1951 coming from Lincoln, MO. He was a retired diesel mechanic and a member of the Ponce Pentecostal Church, Ponce, MO.

Lester was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Joan Fischer; granddaughter, April Batson and a sister, Bonnie Boring.

Survivors include: wife, Geri Fischer of Galena, MO; son, Jim (Sammie) Thompson of Galena, MO; daughters, Judy (Mike) Snider of Clever, MO, Rebecca (Mike) Matney of Galena, MO and Gina (Steve) Hutsell of Galena, MO; eleven grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren; two great, great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2020 in Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Crane, MO. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2020 in Ponce Pentecostal Church, Ponce, MO with Gayle Cobb officiating. Burial will be in Schupbach Cemetery, Chestnut Ridge, MO under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane,MO.
