Linda Sue Stanley, Aurora, MO, daughter of Leon Reno and Mary Frances (Sevenikar) Maybell was born on February 22, 1947 in Kansas City, KS and departed this life on October 28, 2020, at the age of 73.

Linda had lived in the area for the past fifteen years coming from Gardner, KS. She was an RN at Shawnee Mission Medical Center, Overland Park, KS for forty years. Since moving here, she had been the secretary at Hurley Baptist Church, Hurley, MO for the past six years.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Mary Maybell; husband, Harold Stanley; a son, Steven Stanley and a grandson, Justin Stanley.

Survivors include: a son, Jeff Stanley and his wife, Jennifer of De Soto, KS; a daughter, Tammy Mergy and her husband, Eric of Lane, KS; a sister, Mary Jane Dishman of Ottawa, KS; six grandchildren, Joshua, Carly, Allison, Ashley, Christopher and Brandyn; three great grandchildern, Parker, Gage and Colton, one on the way and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 5, 2020 in Hurley Baptist Church, Hurley, MO with Pastor Larry Winfree officiating. Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.
