Lori Short, Kimberling City, MO, daughter of Clair and Sharon (Eickhoff) Short, was born on May 29, 1956, in Rochester, MN, and departed this life on February 19, 2026, at the age of 69.

Lori was a CNA and had lived in the area for the past twenty years, coming from Oklahoma.

Lori was preceded in death by her father, Clair Short and a brother, Jay Edward Short.

Survivors include: her mother, Sharon Mews; son Michael Short and his wife, Valentina; two daughters, Kimmie Jacobs and her husband, Louie and Crystal Groff and her husband, Rocco; a brother, Tommy Cox; thirteen grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family asks friends to remember Lori how she was and request privacy during this time.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Kimberling City, MO.
