Lou Etta Franklin Christofferson took her last flight on June 3, 2025 to be with her husband, sister, and parents in heaven. Lou Etta, known as Lou to most, was born in Blackwell, TX on September 5, 1937. She had a happy and full life traveling the world, being with family, oil painting, farming & owning horses, and living in multiple states: Texas, New York, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Colorado.

Lou married Melvin Carl "Chris" Christofferson on August 4, 1956 in Victoria, Texas. She leaves behind three children, eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Children are: Vickie Christofferson Lamb of Colorado Springs, CO; Carl Christofferson of La Jolla, CA; and Tracy Christofferson of Huber Heights, OH.

She will be missed by many but her memories live on in our hearts! Lou lived out her Christian faith as a mom, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many. A graveside service will be held at Pine Crest Cemetery in Kimberling City, MO where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2025 in Pinecrest Cemetery, Kimberling City, MO under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Kimberling City, MO.
